Beyond the possible....

Three videos to show that there is far more to being 'human' than we normally think....perhaps inspiration for those of us doing National Novel Writing Month in 3 days time.

First, Stephen Wiltshire, an architectural artist who has been diagnosed with autism.

"In May 2005 Stephen produced his longest ever panoramic memory drawing of Tokyo on a 10-meter long canvas within seven days following a short helicopter ride over the city. Since then he has drawn Rome, Hong Kong, Frankfurt, Madrid, Dubai, Jerusalem and London on giant canvasses, and is in the process of drawing his last masterpiece of the series in late 2009. When Wiltshire took the helicopter ride over Rome, he drew it in such great detail that he drew the exact number of columns in the Pantheon." (wiki)

Then, Prahladbhai Jani, a seventy-six year old Indian ascetic who lives in a cave near the Ambaji temple in the state of Gujarat. Mr. Jani claims that he has not had food or fluids to drink for the last sixty-five years.

And finally Al Jazeera's Jonah Hull reports on one Buddhist monk, Dashi Dorzo Itigilov whose body has lived on, despite his death more than 80 years ago.

Hope lives on for Russia's dead monk - 19 July 08

I believe anything is possible, would be a little hard pressed to agree that a person could go without food and water for so long I mean years but if proven authentic, would not be surprised,I'm wired that way, wired to celebrate the odd the different the beauty found in a off street, away from the wayfair, cheering on the impossible,it moves me inspires me helps me to put one foot in front of the other some days.

Thank you for this post, today has a nice little buzz going already ( hello autumn) and then this and well the realm of possibility hooked on to a heart, tethered to a smile

Maybe if we run out of things to write about during NaNoWriMo we can just start talking about possibility.  Then again, did you mean to imply that we all are pushing ourselves “beyond the possible” by trying to write a novel in one month?

I am so glad to have such examples publicized. I believe that the latter two cases are normal ordinary demonstrations/results/indications of the fact that the physical world is a condensation of the non-material “higher” vibrational energies, and that the so-called “laws of the physical world” are nothing more than mutual agreements among the souls who are playing in that world. And we can opt-out any time we realize that. These fellows are among the many examples of those who have just opted out, abiding in their higher-dimensional selves as their identity, so whose physical bodies are no longer subject to the laws of physics, chemistry, biology, psychology.

That's my interpretation.

The autistic guy is something else, but to me it sure does demonstrate the powers our brains have that somehow we don't unleash, but somehow something about “autism” blunts some consciousness-abilities (relating) while allowing others to emerge more fully. A very intriguing mystery.

And yeah, should be very encouraging for the writers!!!!

Blessings, OM Bastet
